Lubb is built so that there is almost nothing to know about you. There are no accounts, and the heartbeat you feel is generated on your phone rather than measured from your body.

what Lubb never collects

Lubb does not measure, record, or store your heartbeat. It plays a rhythm; it does not read yours. The app does not use HealthKit and does not ask for health data. It does not access the microphone, the camera, your contacts, or your location. It does not record audio, and it does not track your sleep.

anonymous product analytics

The app sends a small set of anonymous events so we can see which features get used and where people get stuck. These are processed by PostHog on servers in the European Union.

The events cover:

• finishing onboarding
• playing a single preview beat
• starting and ending a session, along with the chosen duration, pace, feel, drift and sound settings, and whether it was a free or Plus session
• opening the paywall, the automation guide, or the "why a heartbeat" screen
• starting, completing, or restoring a purchase

Each event is tied to a randomly generated identifier for your installation of the app. It is not linked to your name, your email, your Apple Account, or any device identifier, and no attempt is made to work out who you are. Session recording is switched off. The heartbeat itself is never instrumented.

purchases

Lubb Plus is sold through Apple. Apple processes the payment, so we never see your card details or your Apple Account.

Whether Plus is unlocked is managed by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and the transaction information Apple provides. That is how the app knows your purchase is valid, including after you reinstall or restore it.

this website

thelubb.com uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and stores only aggregated, anonymised data. A visit is identified by a hash of the incoming request, which is discarded within 24 hours. There is no consent banner because nothing personal is stored.

your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Because nothing we hold identifies you, we usually cannot find data belonging to a particular person in order to export or delete it. If you have a question about this, write to otasimaz@gmail.com and we will help where we can.

You can stop all analytics from the app by deleting it. Nothing about your nights is stored anywhere else.

children

Lubb is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect anything from them.

changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
